Welcome Jaiye! I just finished my third session (for certification), and it is a lot of fun! I am really enjoying the process, and I am sure you will, too!

So I have finished my first three impact sessions as part of certification, and at least so far, I can say that the written descriptions provided only a few clues for me to determine someone’s motivational flow. However, the interview process was extremely helpful in providing the clarity I needed. To prepare, I wrote down some key questions about each story. By the end of the interview, I had a much higher degree of confidence that my flow hypothesis was correct.
So if others are going through the certification course are having the same fear and stumble upon this thread, I guess my advice is to relax and trust the process. I know this kind of comment probably wouldn’t have helped me when I first posted my question, but it is, nonetheless, true.
I just finished my first impact session (the one with so little detail that triggered this thread). It went great! I had a lot of fun going through the process. In the end, I just kept asking questions and having the person explain more and more about their stories. Then I offered a motivational flow for her to “try on”. The whole process felt very natural to me, which is encouraging. I am looking forward to my next session!
Thanks for the input, Meggin! My first impact session is this coming Wednesday, so I plan to dive in today as much as I can. I am a little nervous, but also excited to move forward!
