ParticipantHi Meggin,
There is no need to use the word “trigger” if you anticipate that clients might have a negative response to it. The primary thing is to help clients see what got the motivational flow started. “Activator” theme works well.

ParticipantThanks @Joshua – that is helpful. I’ll test out with the 3 people I have coming up. The concept is what I want them to get 🙂 So powerful!

ParticipantHi there! I’m only about 10 Impact sessions in so far, but the word “Trigger” in Trigger/Process/Outcome is a tough word I think. I’ve been using it because it’s the word but I feel like I have to explain it because it’s a word that has such negative connotations, which it may not have had whenever this label was attached however many years go. I am tempted to test out Spark or Activator as an alternative. My clients aren’t going to see anything that says TPO, I don’t think because thankfully, that doesn’t show anywhere in the Blueprint unless I’m missing it. I’m preparing for an Impact Session tomorrow and have two more next week so I’d love to hear from others.
How are others navigating this? I’m open to learning your experiences and suggestions.
Thanks!
Meggin
